FIRST AND FOREMOST, WE ARE PUBLISHER OF COOKING RECIPES!
In order to stand out from the crowd of countless [and many »damn good«] similar websites we offer some special & supplemented characteristics: We are watching the international gastronomy scene and the most outstanding restaurants very precisely, to hunt out recipes of the best chefs & their teams.
For us, it doesn’t matter whether the restaurants are decorated with »stars« or »toques«, or relevant restaurant guides rated them with 99 out of 100 points. We are looking for restaurants that consistently meet the individual quality requirements and those, which are inviting their guests to exciting, culinary journeys of discovery. And if they do it in a classic, modern or even avant-garde way – it doesn’t matter also.
The recipes of our top chefs are bundled in different menus and put into an appointed culinary context – seasons, regions, »signature dishes« or single menus of selected restaurants. In addition to the recipes, we offer practical tips for preparation, product information and supplier contacts.

The matching wine recommendations for every recipe, given by the sommeliers or restaurant managers of the respective restaurants, are definitely one of our highlighting features. The sommeliers & co. are the ones who know the dishes of their chefs in all details. Ingredients, methods, fragrance & taste are playing an essential role in the right wine selection. You can really look forward to interesting food & wine pairings.
Apart from the wine recommendations for the recipes, we also introduce other wineries, winemakers and their wines.
And of course, we do not talk exclusively about wine. In the smallest corner of every country, in every region, there are still so many other interesting and more than drinkable liquids, which we do not want to ignore…

But we do not award points or anything like that. If we recommend a restaurant and write about it, it means that we feel comfortable there and we are thrilled by the food, the service and the ambience. Is it not like this, we simply do not write about it. No ironic postings, no arrogant rhetorical effusions – we do not feel like that at all. Rather, we are happy about the time we have, to talk and write about the enjoyable stuff.
It is self-evident that our opinion and our enthusiasm can not be shared by everyone. However, we know that all senses and impressions are subjective. There are good days and there are bad days, sometimes we are doing well and sometimes badly – as a chef, waiter, housekeeper dishwasher and sometimes even as a guest…
